Job Title: Finance and Chargeback Analyst
Job Location: New Delhi (East of Kailash)
Experience: 2-5 Years
As a Finance and Chargeback Analyst, you will manage chargebacks, provide high-quality customer support, and assist with financial operations such as FP&A, taxation, audits, and compliance. This role combines customer service with finance, requiring expertise in both areas to ensure timely resolution of chargebacks and support financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
- Provide support via email, chat, and phone.
- Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
- Use ticketing tools (Freshdesk, Zendesk, Zoho Desk, etc.) to manage queries.
- Assist in setting up customer support functions for e-commerce transactions.
- Create dashboards for monitoring customer queries effectively.
- Prepare and flash weekly PNL reports to stakeholders.
Chargeback Management:
- Log and submit chargebacks daily, ensuring compliance with payment gateway policies.
- Prepare and upload necessary documentation (transaction details, proof of delivery, etc.).
- Prepare and flash daily chargeback MIS to stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records of chargebacks and generate summary reports.
FP&A & Financial Reporting:
- Provide insights on revenue, expenses, and profitability trends.
- Monitor financial performance and report variances.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Assist with tax filings and reporting, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
- Support tax return preparation and liaise with auditors.
Audit & Compliance:
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with audit guidelines and internal controls.
Follow-up & Dispute Resolution:
- Monitor and follow up on chargeback statuses, escalating unresolved issues.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and support teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Contribute to process improvements during team meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Customer Support, with exposure to finance or chargebacks.
- Proficiency in ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk, AnyDesk).
- Strong knowledge of FP&A, taxation, and audit processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays when required.
