The role involves solution design, hands-on coding, mentoring juniors, and collaborating across teams.Key Responsibilities : - Develop and enhance backend services using Java, Spring, and microservices.- Build scalable APIs and distributed systems with best coding practices.- Work with Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).- Optimize performance and ensure system reliability.- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.Required Skills : - Backend : Java 21, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA/Hibernate- Databases : Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Redis- Cloud & DevOps : AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Jenkins, Kafka- Tools : Grafana, Prometheus, RabbitMQ, Git, Jira, Tomcat/WebSphere- Practices : Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Design Patterns, Performance Tuning- Domain : Banking / Financial Services experience preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
