Role:Technical Business Analyst Primary Skills: Business Analysis, Search Engine Optimisation Location: Kochi/Remote Experience: 5+ yearsKey Responsibilities Translate business goals into prioritized backlogs, search roadmaps, and measurable experiments. Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and detailed process/data flows. Partner with engineering, SEO, and data/ML teams to improve search relevance, ranking, taxonomy, metadata, and user intent mapping. Analyze search data (CTR, NTR, abandonment, query patterns) to inform improvements and track KPIs. Support feasibility analysis, solution design clarifications, and UAT/testing. Maintain documentation, manage risks/dependencies, and ensure cross-team alignment. Required Qualifications 5+ years as a Business Analyst / BSA in search, digital marketing, content optimization, or ML/data-driven digital strategy. Strong understanding of search fundamentals: ranking/relevance, query intent, technical SEO, taxonomy, structured data, metadata. Ability to convert business objectives into operational search improvements and experiments. Excellent stakeholder management and communication across cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills: interpreting search logs, behavior metrics, and experiment results. Nice-to-Have Experience with ElasticSearch/Solr/Lucene or proprietary search/ranking systems. Exposure to PIM systems, catalog governance, retail/e-commerce environments. Proficiency with SEO/analytics tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA, log analysis). Familiarity with APIs, JSON, data modeling, and ML/AI trends (LLMs, RAG, vector search). Certifications in BA, SEO, Digital Marketing, or related fields.
