Hiring: Social Media Executive Location: Bandra East, Mumbai Working Model: 6 days a week — 5 days WFH, 1 day WFO Experience: 3–5 years (News/Media industry experience is a must ) We’re looking for a dynamic Social Media Executive with a strong background in news or media who can plan, create, and execute engaging digital content that drives audience growth and engagement across platforms. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow Mid-day’s social media presence across platforms Plan and execute daily content calendars aligned with brand goals and editorial stories Collaborate with editorial and design teams to create high-impact posts, reels, and stories Monitor trends, breaking news, and viral content to ensure timely and relevant engagement Track analytics and insights to optimize performance and report results Ensure brand voice and visual identity remain consistent across all platforms Requirements: 3–5 years of experience in social media management within a news, digital, or media organization (mandatory) Strong understanding of news cycles, trending topics, and social media best practices Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple platforms efficiently Basic knowledge of social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar) Creative mindset with a strong sense of design and audience engagement To get easily shortlisted, share your CV at: reshma.krishnan@mid-day.com
