Position:Security Engineer – Checkpoint & Palo Alto (L2) Location:Mumbai Employment Type:Full-time Shift:Rotational Weekly Off:Depending on workload Joining Timeline:Immediate Experience: 5+ yearsJob Description We are seeking aSecurity Engineer (L2) with 5+ years of experiencein enterprise security operations. The candidate will provideL2-level support for Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls , assist in policy implementation, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure stable security operations across enterprise or data center environments.Key Responsibilities ProvideL2 supportfor Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and other security devices. Assist infirewall rule configuration, NAT, security zones, and access control policies . Monitorsecurity alerts and incidents , escalating critical issues to L3/L4 teams. Performbasic troubleshooting and root cause analysisunder guidance of senior engineers. Maintainsecurity documentation, runbooks, and SOPs . Collaborate withnetwork, infrastructure, and application teamsfor secure operations. Supportfirewall upgrades, patching, and change management activities . Ensure compliance withsecurity policies and operational standards .Required Skills & Experience 5+ yearsof experience in enterprise security or firewall management. Hands-on experience withCheckpoint and Palo Alto firewalls . Understanding ofVPNs, NAT, firewall policies, and security zones . Familiarity withIPS/IDS and threat preventionis a plus. Basic troubleshooting and incident handling skills. Good communication, documentation, and analytical skills.Preferred Qualifications CCSE / CCSE NGX(Checkpoint) orPCNSE(Palo Alto) certifications. Exposure todata center or multi-site enterprise networks .
