Powered by a centralised data lake and enterprise-grade security, Karnival is the growth engine modern retailers cant do without.About the Role : We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our growing product team. Youll play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our SaaS platform by designing and executing effective testing processes. This role involves close collaboration with the development and product teams to deliver a smooth, bug-free user experience.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects through issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).- Participate in regression, smoke, and performance testing for each product release.- Ensure that all features meet the companys quality and usability standards.- Maintain and improve test scripts and automation frameworks where applicable.- Work closely with DevOps to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.- Provide regular testing reports and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders.Requirements : - 23 years of hands-on experience in software testing for SaaS or web-based products.- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.- Experience in manual testing (functional, regression, integration, smoke, UAT).- Basic experience or exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress, or Playwright).- Familiarity with API testing and using tools like Postman or Swagger.- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.- Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar defect management tools.- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.- Excellent communication and documentation skills.Good to Have : - Experience working on SaaS or B2B enterprise platforms.- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.What We Offer : - Opportunity to work on a scalable global SaaS product.- A collaborative, fast-paced, and innovation-driven environment.- Flexible working setup and supportive culture.- Competitive salary and growth opportunities.
