Job Description

Role : QA Engineer with Appium

Location : Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Panchkula, Mumbai, Gurugram

Experience : 4+ years

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Create and execute automated test scripts using Appium for mobile apps.

- Collaborate with developers to design test strategies based on app requirements.

- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on mobile applications.

- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

- Conduct thorough test planning to ensure high-quality releases.

- Maintain and update automation test suites for better coverage.

Skills & Attributes :

- Appium Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with Appium for automating mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms.

- Scripting Languages : Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.

- Mobile Testing : Solid understanding of mobile testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

- Test Management : Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

- CI/CD Integration : Knowledge of integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.

- API Testing : Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

- Debugging Skills : Strong debugging skills to analyze test failures and provide root cause analysis.

- Agile Environment : Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile processes like sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
