Senior Associate, Marketing Data Management

Cvent's Global Demand Center (GDC) is seeking a motivated and passionate Data Management Associate to support our Data Management efforts for B2B Marketing. This role will be pivotal in overseeing the growth and accuracy of our global marketing data, providing critical input for our audience identification and campaign segmentation strategies. Cvent’s marketing database is the engine driving our powerful lead generation machine.
The Data Management Associate will support the centralized global Data Management function, catering to all global marketing teams. You will ensure that both the prospect and customer data are accurate and available, fostering engagement that drives sales pipeline and revenue efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of B2B data segmentation, process flows, data normalization/standardization techniques, and relational database management system to comply with Cvent’s rapidly evolving business needs.
In This Role, You Will:
Global Data Management through ETL. Implement processes to continuously improve data quality and integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to effectively use data for targeted marketing campaigns and audience segmentation. Monitor and report on key data metrics to ensure high standards of data health and performance. Implement best practices for data management and ensure compliance with data governance standards. Resolve data discrepancies and system-specific issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Serve as a liaison between different departments to ensure seamless data integration and utilization. Lead and manage data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Utilize data insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making. Conduct data investigations and ad-hoc analyses to support marketing initiatives. Engage with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Communicate effectively with senior leadership to report on data initiatives and performance. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance data management practices. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management and marketing technology.
Here's What You Need:
3-5 years of relevant professional work experience. Experience in enterprise-grade database systems, with the ability to write SQL queries for data transformation, data investigations, and ad-hoc analysis. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with reporting tools such as Sigma, Tableau or Power BI is an added advantage. Strong understanding of B2B marketing data management and manipulation. Familiarity with marketing platforms like Marketo, Salesforce, and other CRM systems. An analytical and inquisitive approach to B2B marketing data. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to provide concise, clear reporting and actionable analysis. Strong project management and stakeholder management skills. Understanding third-party data sources like ZoomInfo, Hoovers, SalesIntel, Demandbase, etc., for data orchestration is highly desirable.
