Description :Job Title : Senior Software Engineer Java & RustLocation : Pune, IndiaExperience : 6+ yearsAbout the Role :We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and recent hands-on experience in Rust (Axum + Tokio). The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in backend development, systems programming, and multithreading, and will be involved in building high-performance, scalable applications.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) and Rust (Axum + Tokio)- Implement efficient, concurrent, and scalable code for production systems- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features- Optimize application performance and ensure reliability and security- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior engineersRequired Skills & Experience :- 6+ years of software development experience- Strong expertise in Java with Spring Boot framework- Recent hands-on experience in Rust, particularly with Axum and Tokio- Understanding of multithreading, memory management, and systems programming- Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and backend services- Familiarity with databases, caching, and messaging systems- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyPreferred Skills :- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testingWork Mode : Onsite in Pune (ref:hirist.tech)
