Job Description :

Role : Java/C++ Architect

  • 15+ Experience in C/C++ C# and Java based application development.
  • ETL tools like Apache Nifi, data processing using Kafka is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the PostgreSQL/MySQL/Clickhouse database for data storage and retrieval.
  • Experience in Python and GoLang is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Telecom domain with OSS including NMS, Network testing, Service assurance and Core Network Protocols experience is essential.
  • Proven ability to architect complex software systems which are real-time, latency-sensitive with large volume of traffic.
  • In depth knowledge of various types of inter process communication
  • TCP/IP, in-memory queues, message bus, streaming protocols, broadcast
  • Has helped develop microservices from monolithic software
  • Knowledge of Container based architecture, Kubernetes, Openstack and NFV layers and Load balancers- Cloud technology skills.
  • Experience on AWS, Azure based application development
  • Hands on experience of architecting high-speed data packet processing is preferred-
  • HTTP/2 and 5G experience is preferred
  • C++ is the preferred programming language but candidate should be capable on architecting software developed over either C++ or Java.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Independently own the full life cycle of software architecture for assigned projects and create or maintain design documents.
  • Plan out features across many versions of the product.
  • Independently elicit, analyze and baseline requirements per internal/external customer interfaces and develop use cases.
  • Independently prototype and validate proof of concepts as needed.
  • Ownership over large components and contribute to code in any component.
  • Shape coding methodologies and best practices.
  • Think both strategically and tactically, keeping in mind both technical goals and company goals.
  • Define and drive the personalized solution proposals customer specific needs by collaborating with both customer and engineering teams.
  • Support software development team with design reviews, implementation related questions and code reviews to ensure implementations follow the designs.
  • Support test team in improving test cases and resolving failed tests.
  • Design and develop APIs and user interfaces.
  • Support customer with root cause and countermeasure and recovery planning.
  • Collaborate with the PM to identify technical debt and lead the execution in reducing it.
  • Collaborate on cross functional root causing workshops with 3rd party vendors and customers.
  • Use SDLC tool chain for day-to-day development activities (code commits and review via GitHub, Azure devops and gradle for application development and build, VISIO like software for software design diagrams)
  • Identify technical risks in meeting schedule during planning and provide alternative technical strategies.
  • Demonstrate that alternatives and trade-off are considered and make comprehensive decisions while taking accountability for decisions and learning from mistakes.
  • Support internal and external customers for timely issue resolution.
  • Meeting multiple high priority deliverables within the schedule assigned in a matrix organized structure.
