JOB DESCRIPTION :

Roles & Responsibilities

1.Understand and communicate billing, forecasting, and budgeting best practices

2.Identifying key cost drivers and managing cloud consumption and cost optimisation at the enterprise level

3.Managing cloud contracts to maximize business value, which includes contract negotiation.

4. Publish policies for Cloud Financials related to budgeting, authorization, provisioning, forecasting, utilisation and billing .

5.To ensure all the spend is optimized and adopt technologies to bring in cost efficiency Manage cost allocation strategy

6. Championing FinOps best practices, driving awareness and adoption Implementing systems and automating processes

7. Collaborating with other non-technical stakeholders of the business, including Finance Operational Responsibilities

8.Providing cloud cost forecasts and estimates to support budgeting

9.Budget and control the spend on the Cloud Billing

10.Manage and track Cloud Billing and distribution to the respective units

11.Review with business units on spend trend and identify savings and adjustments

12.Ensure tracking of provisioning of all cloud resources, projected cost and track spending

13.Report and identify spend trends

14. On time delivery all financial reports related to Cloud

15. Communicate with finance team on budget, forecast and spending

16. Communicate with senior management on all spend analysis and action plan

17.Review and report cloud provider SLAs, which includes claim submissions and monitoring
