Job Title:Tax Senior – VAT (Indirect Tax) Location:Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Gurgaon Department:Global Delivery Services – Indirect Tax Experience:7–10 years About the Role: We are seeking aTax Senior – VATto join our dynamic, globally integrated Indirect Tax team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a culturally diverse workforce supporting global accounts across 30+ countries, with plans to expand to 50+. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality VAT compliance and advisory services, managing end-to-end client engagements, and leading process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage VAT client engagements from planning to completion Review amended federal and state income tax returns and supporting workpapers Interpret and apply state/local tax regulations; provide recommendations Analyze and recommend tax strategies for process improvements Participate in tax audits and prepare audit responses Drive adoption of new tools, technology, and quality initiatives Conduct and lead internal calls, manage compliance activities Mentor, train, and guide junior team members Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment Passion for client service and delivering value Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or related field 7–10 years of relevant experience in VAT/Indirect Tax, State Compliance, or Amended Returns Experience with tax tools (CorpTax, OneSource, GoSystem) Working knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Exposure to Power BI, Alteryx is an added advantage Preferred: Prior experience in global VAT compliance Strong understanding of local country indirect tax regulations
