Job Description

As a Junior Frontend Developer at Alkye, you will be responsible for implementing visual and interactive elements that users engage with through their web browser when using a web application. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to deliver high-quality web applications that meet the needs of our clients and users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Frontend Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and create responsive layouts that work seamlessly across various devices and browsers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Skills and Experience:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Basic understanding of frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of web development principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integration.
  • Basic knowledge of build tools and package managers such as Webpack, NPM, or Yarn.
  • Exposure to UI/UX design principles and tools.
