AR Co-Ordinator, APAC – Japan Region with Japanese Language Proficiency
Work Location: Borivali East, Mumbai India
Responsibilities/Duties:
Manage a portfolio of Japanese customer Accounts Receivable Accounts; with a primary emphasis on their
timely collection.
- Contacts past due customers via phone, email or letter to collect past due balances.
- Analyze assigned portfolios to identify delinquent/past due or at-risk collection accounts.
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of Invoices to the Customers. Monitors credit holds and account status and credit availability.
- Reconcile customer accounts, Prepare Monthly AR aging reports, and Close the AR month-end
- As required support other areas of the finance team by undertaking regular reporting which includes in part sales/accounts receivable input.
- Ensure SOX compliance, monthly reconciliations are performed accurately and timely.
- This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, good business practices, and company documented procedures (including knowledge of
- all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations, and statutes related to the site).
- Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement
- This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, good business practices, and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations, and statutes related to the site).

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- B.Com /BBM or a related Qualification
- Business-to-business collections experience is strongly preferred.
- Good written and Oral knowledge of business Japanese language
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (particularly Excel) preferred Oracle ERP system is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to solve problems Planning & Decision Making:
- Employs customer credit hold within established guidelines Provides written recommendations for customer credit limits, with supporting evidence (i.e. credit report, payment history, and financial information) to manage small balance write-offs within adjustment authority Negotiates payment installments to resolve delinquencies

Directly impacts the integrity of the company’s asset of accounts receivable (mitigate bad debt write-off) Job
performance impacts the collection cycle (directly impacting the Cash Conversion)
