Associate/Senior Associate – Banking

A prestigious law firm , is looking for a talented Associate/Senior Associate (2-4 years PQE) to join their Banking & Finance team in Mumbai . This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work on high-value financial transactions , regulatory advisory , and complex lending matters .
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various financing documents , including loan agreements, security documents, trust deeds, and debenture documentation . Conducting due diligence on borrowers and collateral structures for credit transactions. Advising clients on banking regulations, compliance matters, and NBFC issues . Assisting with syndicated lending, structured finance transactions, and external commercial borrowings (ECBs) . Engaging in negotiations with financial institutions, banks, and corporate clients . Providing advice on RBI regulations, financial restructuring, securitization, and insolvency proceedings .Candidate Profile:
2-4 years of relevant experience working in law firms, banks, or NBFCs . Strong understanding of banking laws, credit structuring, and financial documentation . Exposure to corporate finance, project finance, debt capital markets, and structured lending transactions is an advantage. Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills .
