Job Title: Chartered Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to handle the complete financial and accounting operations for all group companies. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, a deep understanding of Indian taxation and compliance, and the ability to provide strategic financial advice to senior management.

Gross Salary: ₹40,000 - ₹50,000per month (subject to applicable T.P.S.), comprising:

Key Responsibilities (Scope of Work)
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and finalize accounts, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, Consolidated Financial Statement, and Income Statement.
- Get accounts audited from Statutory Auditors and prepare other reports/certificates as required.
- Enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Scrutinize ledgers, reconcile accounts, and oversee all accounting functions.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations: Income Tax, TDS, Professional Tax, Provident Fund, GST, Advance Tax (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Liaise with consultants in case of difficulties.
- Prepare Form 16 for staff based on information received from employees.
Banking, Treasury & Investments
- Prepare investment schedules, manage Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs) and Bank Guarantees.
- Liaise with bank personnel and auditors as needed.
Regulatory & Business Support
- Provide details and data for SEBI inspections of BSE, NSE, MCX, or other exchanges/authorities as required.
- Prepare budgeted income and expenditure accounts.
- Provide financial advice to the Chairman regularly.
- Counsel and remind clients about outstanding balances and deal with insolvency matters when required.
- Advise on tax, treasury issues, and financial planning/forecasting.
- Suggest process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Risk Management & Audit
- Review company systems and analyse risks.
- Perform tests to verify financial information and detect/prevent fraud.
Team Management
- Manage subordinate staff and promote professionalism, respect, and compliance with company policies.
Other Duties
- Carry out any other duties, functions, or reporting as assigned by the Chairman.
Reporting Structure
- Initial: Under the guidance of HOD – Accounts (Ms. Payal Popat).
- Post-transition: Report directly to the Chairman.
Employment Terms
Probation & Confirmation
- Probation period: 6 months (extendable at company discretion).
- Confirmation in writing, with or without salary modification, based on performance.
Notice Period
- After confirmation: One month's notice or salary in lieu (not applicable in disciplinary cases).
Retirement Age
- 58 years (extendable at management's discretion).
Working Hours
- 9:45 AM to 6:15 PM on all working days, with a 30-minute lunch break.
- Punctuality rules apply.
Exclusivity & Restrictions
- Full-time employment; no engagement in any work similar to company activities.
- Strict prohibition on directly or indirectly engaging in Capital Market business of any nature.
Confidentiality
- Signing of a Non-Disclosure / Confidentiality Agreement is mandatory.
- Must not communicate company information to unauthorized parties.
