Looking for GCP Cloud Engineer (Diversity)

Pune location

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services, solution design, and programming skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP data processing tools, cloud-native services, and the ability to design scalable and optimized cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize GCP-based data solutions using best practices.
  • Develop workflows and pipelines using Cloud Composer and Apache Airflow, including setting task dependencies in DAGs.
  • Build and manage data processing clusters using Dataproc for batch and stream processing.
  • Work with GCP services such as Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage for event-driven and microservice-based architectures.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows and integrate multiple data sources.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Apply logical problem-solving skills to address business challenges and optimize cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document end-to-end GCP solution architectures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar, with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
  • Good understanding of GCP architecture and ability to design efficient, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Experience in setting task dependencies in Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration.
  • Excellent logical and analytical thinking for solving technical problems.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GCP Professional Data Engineer or Architect Certification.
  • Experience in data lake and data warehouse solutions on GCP (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for GCP-based deployments.
