This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your skills in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance data pipelines that process massive amounts of data.

The role involves creating scalable batch processing systems using Python and big data technologies, optimizing database performance by focusing on slow-running queries and latency improvements, and identifying bottlenecks using Python profilers and performance monitoring tools. You'll work closely with data scientists and product teams to understand data requirements, build efficient ETL pipelines that can handle large-scale data processing, and collaborate on troubleshooting data pipeline issues in production.

To be successful in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of big data technologies, such as Spark and Hadoop, as well as experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools, performance optimization techniques, and distributed systems architecture is also highly desirable.
