This role will be pivotal in driving growth, profitability, and strategic alignment across Motor and Health Agency portfolios.The position demands strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic planning capabilities, with a proven ability to translate data insights into actionable business outcomes. The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership, product, finance, and distribution teams to ensure achievement of channel and company objectives.Key Responsibilities1. Business Strategy & Planning- Lead strategic planning and execution for the Motor and Health Agency channels to achieve financial and operational targets.- Develop and manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring alignment with organizational goals.- Conduct scenario planning, P&L simulations, and performance forecasting to guide strategic decision-making.- Partner with Product Heads, Channel Leaders, and Finance teams to design sustainable business models and growth roadmaps.2. Channel Performance & Financial Management- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the agency channels.- Drive performance monitoring and variance analysis against budgets, identifying improvement levers.- Manage commission structures, incentive frameworks, and channel profitability analysis to ensure sustainable business performance.- Monitor underwriting ratios, loss ratios, and key risk indicators; raise alerts on deviations and initiate corrective measures.3. Product and Market Strategy- Collaborate with Product and Pricing teams to develop innovative insurance products tailored to the agency business.- Conduct competitive benchmarking across product features, pricing, underwriting practices, and claims processes.- Support the development of differentiated propositions to enhance customer acquisition and retention.- Partner with marketing and business teams to design and execute targeted campaigns for channel and employee engagement.4. Strategic Reporting & Stakeholder Management- Prepare C-level presentations, management reports, and performance dashboards summarizing key business insights.- Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and financial modeling.- Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, governance reviews, and board-level discussions.5. Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Partnering- Lead the annual budgeting exercise, working with Channel and Product Heads to consolidate financial targets.- Develop and continuously enhance frameworks for budgeting, financial projections, and operational forecasts.- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives, financial outcomes, and execution priorities.Qualifications & MBA (Finance / Strategy / Marketing) or equivalent from a reputed institute.Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience in insurance, financial services, or strategy consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic planning role.Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Motor and/or Health Insurance business, distribution channels, and financial performance metrics.Technical Skills:- Expertise in financial modeling, business analytics, and dashboarding (Excel, Power BI, etc.)- Strong knowledge of P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting.- Proficiency in preparing executive-level reports and strategic presentations.
