About the Job:
Sepio Products Private Limited is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead regional sales initiatives for our Product Sales team in Mumbai.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth by acquiring new customers and deeply nurturing existing strategic relationships.
You'll oversee regional sales efforts, contributing to strategic planning, and guiding a small team or regional sales force.
This position requires strong individual contribution, strategic thinking, and leadership to meet and exceed ambitious sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Sales Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Independently drive and oversee sales from new and existing customers across your designated territories/segments.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Lead complex client visits, product demonstrations, and negotiations to close high-value deals.
Marketing & Lead Generation:
- Strategically identify and participate in relevant exhibitions, industrial zones, and events to generate high-quality leads.
- Conduct in-depth research on online tenders, search engines, and digital platforms to identify significant opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional activities.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive Daily Sales Reports (DSR), client databases, and strategic prospect lists.
- Submit detailed quarterly sales performance and revenue achievement reports, including insightful analysis.
Market & Product Research:
- Proactively identify significant opportunities from new applications, regions, and industries.
- Thoroughly map decision-makers and key personnel in target companies.
- Recommend and identify highly productive exhibitions for lead generation and brand enhancement.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key customers, team members, and internal stakeholders.
- Expertly handle customer queries and objections, ensuring timely coordination of order dispatches and issue resolution.
- Strategically schedule and document client visits, follow-ups, and customer engagement activities in CRM tools, ensuring data integrity.
Team Management & Development:
- Support and guide junior team members in achieving their individual sales targets.
- Conduct joint sales calls and lead by example in sales best practices.
Training & Capability Building:
- Conduct regular product, sales process, and closing technique training sessions for team members, focusing on skill enhancement.
- Ensure continuous upskilling and knowledge sharing within the team.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong business development and advanced negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
- Ability to guide and motivate team members.
- A strong customer-centric approach with a focus on long-term relationships.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 9 to 10 years of relevant B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial products, packaging, or manufacturing-related sectors.
Track Record: Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and contributing to team success
