Job Title : Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer Experience : 6 - 10 YearsLocation : Bangalore (Hybrid / On-site depending on project needs)About the Role :We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) professional to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level web content management solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in AEM 6.5+, component development, integrations, and performance tuning. This role demands strong technical proficiency in Java, JCR, Sling Models, HTL, and OSGi frameworks, along with the ability to collaborate across design, architecture, and DevOps teams.Key Responsibilities :AEM Development & Customization :- Design and implement AEM components, templates, workflows, and services using Sling Models, HTL, and OSGi.- Develop and extend functionalities using Java, JCR APIs, and RESTful services for integrations with third-party systems.- Create and maintain custom AEM modules, servlets, schedulers, and event listeners.Architecture & Design :- Contribute to AEM solution architecture and ensure scalable, reusable, and maintainable codebases.- Apply mobile-first design principles and develop adaptive content delivery strategies.- Optimize content authoring experience for content editors and marketers.System Integration :- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for content exchange, personalization, and external applications.- Implement headless CMS features where required using AEM Content Services.Performance & Security :- Configure and optimize Dispatcher caching, load balancing, and CDN strategies.- Perform performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting across environments.DevOps & CI/CD :- Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.- Ensure version control, branching strategies, and code quality checks using Git, Jenkins, Maven, etc.Collaboration & Mentorship :- Partner with UX, QA, and Backend teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and best practices workshops.Required Skills & Qualifications :Core AEM Expertise :- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.5+.- Strong knowledge of Sling Models, HTL (Sightly), OSGi services, JCR, workflows, and content fragments.- Deep understanding of AEM architecture including author-publish-dispatcher model.Programming & Integration :- Strong proficiency in Java, OSGi frameworks, and JCR APIs.- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and third-party integrations.- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular preferred).System Administration & Tuning :- Dispatcher configuration, caching policies, and performance optimization.- Experience in troubleshooting replication, indexing, workflows, and cluster setups.DevOps & Tools :- Experience with Maven, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines for AEM projects.- Knowledge of Cloud Manager, Adobe I/O, and AEM as a Cloud Service is a plus.Soft Skills :- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation abilities.- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.Good to Have :- Adobe Certified Expert AEM Sites Developer / Architect certification.- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign, or other Adobe Experience Cloud tools.- Knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
