Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced individual specializing in retail channel development within the nutraceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building retail strategies, connecting with distributors, and successfully placing products in significant retail stores. This role will play a critical part in our growth strategy whilst ensuring our brand reaches a wider audience.


Key Responsibilities:


Retail Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective retail strategies tailored to the nutraceutical market, focusing on both short-term and long-term goals.


Retail Placement: Facilitate relationships with key decision-makers at major retail chains and assist in product placement to maximize visibility and sales opportunities.


Distributor Networking: Identify, engage, and connect with potential distributors to enhance our distribution network and streamline our supply chain.


Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences within the nutraceutical sector.


Sales Training: Provide training and resources to internal teams and distributors on product knowledge, sales techniques, and retail best practices.


Strategic Partnerships: Foster relationships with strategic partners (vendors, suppliers, etc.) to enhance our market presence and support growth initiatives.


Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs to measure retail channel effectiveness and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.


Qualifications:


Proven experience in retail channel development, preferably within the nutraceutical or consumer goods sectors.

Strong network of contacts within major retail chains and distributors.

In-depth understanding of retail marketing, merchandising, and consumer behavior.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
