Packaging Specialist

To support our high standards of packaging efficiency and product integrity, we’re seeking a Packaging Specialist with a proven background in packaging activities, specifically within the energy storage or manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Streamline Packaging Operations: Define and oversee efficient packaging operations that ensure safety and meet storage and movement conditions for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Optimize Logistics Costs: Develop packaging solutions that maximize quantity per pallet, dimension, and container load while upholding product quality and safety.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Actively liaise with suppliers and internal teams—including planning, logistics, warehouse, production, quality, EHS, and R&D—to drive packaging optimization initiatives and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Manage Packaging Development: Oversee packaging development for raw materials and finished goods to ensure they meet the needs of storage, movement, and product quality.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement packaging improvements with a focus on quality, cost efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all packaging solutions comply with relevant standards and regulatory guidelines for both domestic and international shipments.
• Warehouse Solutions: Provide specialized packaging solutions for raw material repackaging and storage within automated warehouse systems.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: Extensive knowledge of packaging processes and experience in high-complexity manufacturing environments.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire and lead teams, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with acute attention to detail.
• Lean/Six Sigma Knowledge: Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts to support continuous improvement efforts.
