Description : Key Responsibilities : - Monitor UNIX/Linux systems for performance, stability, and availability to meet Service Level Objectives (SLOs).- Maintain system patching, updates, and security compliance.- Develop, test, and deploy Ansible playbooks and modules for automation in a distributed data center environment.- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents related to UNIX systems, hardware, and OS/software.- Ensure systems comply with business, information security, and regulatory requirements.- Update and maintain system/process documentation, diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and user guides.- Participate in on-call rotations to promptly address production-related issues.- Handle incident escalations objectively and collaborate with relevant teams to implement resolutions.Skills & Qualifications : - Strong expertise in UNIX/Linux system administration.- Hands-on experience with Ansible automation for system provisioning and configuration management.- Proficient in troubleshooting OS, application, and hardware issues.- Knowledge of system performance tuning and monitoring tools.- Experience maintaining security compliance and patch management.- Ability to write and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, including on-call support (ref:hirist.tech)
