Through our global partner network, Sathvar enables businesses to access trusted professionals for their compliance, management, and expansion needs.We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can take ownership of end-to-end accounting operations, ensure compliance with Indian and international accounting standards, and support our growing network of clients globally.Key Responsibilities1. Accounting Operations- Manage day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing. - Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable IFRS norms, also Indian GAAP - Ensure timely posting of transactions, accruals, and provisions.2. Financial Reporting- Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statement. - Assist in consolidation and preparation of MIS reports for management review. - Perform financial analysis, variance reporting, and cost control analysis.3. Taxation & Compliance- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings. - Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and company secretaries for audit and compliance matters. - Prepare and review monthly/quarterly statutory returns.4. Internal Controls & Process Improvement- Implement and monitor accounting systems and internal controls. - Identify process gaps and propose automation or improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. - Support in ERP/Accounting software implementation and maintenance.5. Client Coordination (for Outsourced Accounting Projects)- Manage accounting deliverables for multiple client entities. - Communicate financial results and compliance updates to clients on time. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data gathering and reporting.Required Qualifications- Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Semi-qualified CA or CMA. - Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a consulting, CA firm, or corporate environment. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in SAP, Dynamics, Mybizz ERP, Zoho Books, or ERP platforms (MyBizz ERP preferred). - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting standards (Ind AS / Indian GAAP). - Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities. - High attention to detail and commitment to deadlines. - Client-centric and proactive approach.What We Offer- Opportunity to work on global accounting and compliance projects. - Exposure to multi-country accounting and taxation practices. - Growth-oriented work environment with cross-functional learning. - Competitive compensation and performance incentivesSathvar Global Business services
