Head of Corporate Development and Strategy

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Corporate Development and Strategy. This role will be responsible for spearheading corporate development initiatives, fundraising activities, managing capital markets engagement, leading investor relations efforts, and driving overall company strategy and growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of success in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and execution of the company's corporate development strategy, including identifying, partnerships, and strategic alliances.

- Oversee all transactions, from deal sourcing and due diligence to negotiation, and integration planning.

- Manage fundraising activities, including debt and equity capital raises, and maintain relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions.

- Drive engagement with capital markets, including analysts, investors, and rating agencies, to enhance the company's visibility and optimize its cost of capital.

- Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations strategies to effectively communicate the company's financial performance, business strategy, and value proposition to shareholders and the broader investment community.

- Collaborate closely with the executive team and business unit leaders to formulate and execute strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, enhance operational efficiency, and maximize shareholder value.

- Provide strategic guidance and support to business units on matters related to pricing, product development, market expansion, and competitive positioning.

- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks, and adjust the company's strategy accordingly.

- Oversee the financial performance of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, and implement measures to optimize profitability and operational Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- 10 - 20 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, or related roles, with a focus on the real estate industry.

- Proven track record of leading and executing M&A transactions, fundraising initiatives, and capital markets transactions.

- Deep understanding of financial analysis, valuation techniques, and deal structuring principles.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate and articulate a compelling vision and roadmap for the company's growth and value creation.

- Results-oriented leader with a track record of driving performance improvement and delivering measurable business results.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
