This position requires a rare blend of deep, hands-on technical mastery in Python, PySpark, and AWS with proven Strategic Thinking and leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap, leading complex data and application development initiatives, and providing technical guidance at an architectural level, while serving as a core Team Player and mentor.Key Responsibilities :- Strategic Technical Leadership : Apply Strategic Thinking to define the technical direction, architecture blueprints, and engineering best practices for Python-based backend and data processing platforms on AWS across multiple client engagements.- Full Stack & Backend Mastery : Maintain strong hands-on experience and provide technical oversight in Python for developing highly scalable and robust backend applications and services.- Data Engineering & PySpark : Drive and implement large-scale data processing solutions using PySpark for critical data transformation, ETL/ELT pipelines, and advanced analytics on cloud-native data lakes and warehouses.- API Architecture & Design : Lead the architectural design and full lifecycle development of secure, high-performance REST APIs, ensuring compliance with modern architectural standards and client requirements.- Cloud Integration & AWS : Leverage good knowledge of AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, EMR, Glue) to design, deploy, and manage highly available, production-ready applications and data services.- Team & Culture : Act as a core Team Player who fosters technical collaboration, provides mentorship to senior team members, and instills a culture of technical excellence and accountability within the consulting practice.- Consulting & Client Engagement : Translate complex business objectives and client requirements into clear, executable technical specifications, providing high-level technical consultation to clients.Required Skill Set (Mandatory Skills) :- Work Level : Proven experience operating at a Senior Leadership or Principal/Director level.- Core Languages & Tools : Mandatory Strong proficiency in Python and advanced expertise in PySpark for scalable data processing.- API Development : Extensive Experience in REST API development and defining API architectural standards.- Cloud Expertise : Good knowledge of AWS services for compute, storage, data management, and deployment.- Leadership Traits : Demonstrated ability in Strategic Thinking and providing technical direction and mentorship.- Collaboration : Strong commitment to being a core Team Player and driving collaborative success across distributed teams.Preferred Skills :- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD automation.- Certification in AWS (AWS Certified Solutions Architect).- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).- Prior experience in a technical leadership role within the IT Services & Consulting industry.
