Principal Consultant Senior Python/Django developer

Job Description Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Senior Python/Django developer We are looking for a senior Python/Django developer with experience in building scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate can design robust backend systems, optimize databases, integrate healthcare services, and ensure security and HIPAA/GDPR compliance. If you're passionate about quality at scale, innovation, and leadership, we'd love to hear from you Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Django. - Build and maintain RESTful/GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications. - Optimize databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL) for performance and reliability. - Integrate third-party services like payment gateways, EMR/EHR systems, and authentication. - Ensure security, HIPAA/GDPR compliance, and implement best coding practices. - Lead system architecture, scalability improvements, and performance optimization. - Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps. - Implement automated testing, logging, monitoring, and troubleshoot production issues. - Stay updated with healthcare tech trends and contribute to innovation and process improvements. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications - We are looking for senior developer of professional software development experience, with at least in Python/Django (including Django REST Framework). - Strong expertise in API design and development, including RESTful principles and best practices. - Hands-on experience with asynchronous processing using Celery, Redis, or similar tools. - Solid knowledge of database design and optimization (PostgreSQL preferred). - Proven experience in cloud-native deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes. - Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (HIPAA/HITECH). - Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. - Familiarity with interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) or willingness to learn quickly. Strong communication and leadership skills for mentoring and cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills - Prior experience in the healthcare technology (HealthTech) industry is a must. A deep understanding of the healthcare domain, including knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, patient data security, and HIPAA regulations is critical. - Bachelor%27s or Master%27s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple product lines or in a portfolio-based company. - Familiarity with interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR. - - - - - -
