Job Title : Performance Test EngineerExperience Required : 7- 9 yearsLocation : CoimbatoreEmployment Type : Full-timeJob Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in load testing, APM tools, and cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performance testing, monitoring, and optimizing enterprise-grade applications. You will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability benchmarks.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter or K6.- Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing across applications and systems.- Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) to enable continuous performance validation.- Leverage APM tools (Datadog, Dynatrace) to monitor system performance, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.- Perform log analysis using Kibana or Elasticsearch to troubleshoot issues and validate performance results.- Work with Git for version control, ensuring efficient collaboration and code management.- Apply basic knowledge of AWS services and architecture to test cloud-hosted applications.- Utilize understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) for performance testing in containerized environments.- Maintain strong documentation of performance test cases, methodologies, and outcomes.Required Skills & Qualifications :- 4- 6 years of hands-on experience in performance testing for enterprise applications.- Strong expertise in at least one load testing tool (JMeter, K6).- Proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development.- Working experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools (Datadog, Dynatrace).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a performance-driven mindset.- Hands-on experience in log analysis using Kibana/Elasticsearch.- Basic knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) and cloud architectures.- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts, deployments, and troubleshooting.- Practical experience integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).Nice to Have :- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (Python, Java, or Shell scripting).- Familiarity with microservices performance testing.- Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
