Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine financial models for climate and infrastructure projects including scenario analysis and risk-return assessmentsTranslate policy, market, and technical inputs into investor-ready financial forecasts and maintain Excel-based decision-support tools.Conduct financial due diligence and evaluate project feasibility and evaluate capital structuring options including equity, debt, blended finance, guarantees, hedging and other structuresPrepare investment memos, term sheets, business cases, financing operations manuals and presentations for investors and funding partnersExecute required market research across eMobility, green hydrogen, RE integration, and other low-carbon infrastructure sectorsAnalyze pricing, incentives, and regulatory developments affecting climate-aligned investments, and monitor global climate finance mechanismsContribute to climate finance strategy development and support fundraising efforts for platforms like GCF, GEF and othersConduct policy analysis to identify gaps in climate finance and recommend strategies aligned with evolving frameworksEngage with stakeholders including investors, development finance institutions (DFIs), and government agencies and prepare data-driven reports for internal and external useRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field; CA/MBA preferred; CFA any level value-added5+ years of experience in project finance, investment banking, development finance or climate financeProven expertise in building and maintaining dynamic financial models.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, macros, and scenario planningStrong understanding of capital structures, investment instruments, and risk assessmentExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skillsExposure to global financing market and understandingDesirable Skills & Attributes Experience with green bonds, carbon markets, concessional finance, and public-private partnership modelsExposure to EVs, green hydrogen, and sustainable infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with ESG frameworks and climate impact reporting.Demonstrated success in proposal writing for GCF, GEF, or similar climate finance platformsUnderstanding of blended finance instruments, guarantees, and currency hedging strategiesAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersStrong policy analysis capabilities with the ability to connect financing strategies to climate policy frameworks
