About the role:As an Senior Art Director, you are required to bring ideas to life through your creative designs.This role requires you to proactively provide feasible & innovative design solutions for events & activations. You are expected to have a strong understanding of 2D graphics, and scenic designs and environmental graphics. You shall be the point of coordination between all involved in the event-client, internal teams at Hyperlink including Client service, Production, Concept, Design as well as external agency partnersResponsibilities:Creative Output on briefs received:Meet with Client Service team/ Client &understand briefsDevelop design briefs by gathering information and data through researchVisualize, brainstorm, ideate& transform ideas into effective designs/artwork/templatesSketch ideas whenever requiredGive direction, inputs, suggestions to the team on briefsAttend reccees if required to get a fair idea of the event venueKeen eye on design aesthetics- use a good sense of aesthetics & judge & visualize the right style of design.Create identity designs, environmental graphics, illustrations OR commercial art/ scenic designs, stage or exhibition designs and spatial designs.Create print files & art files that can be sent to printers for printing/ Create production files with specifications of all materials and ensure feasibilityBeing ahead of the curve to provide directions to the team & advice the clientIncorporating the latest trends in graphic designUpdated knowledge of software and tools of the trade2.Client Related Goals:Attend Client meetings whenever required Research on clients & brands to deliver an effective creative design; Staying updated on brand knowledgeHaving the sensibilities to understand the brand, brand guidelines (colors), the client’s core message, target audience and other needs of the clientAbility to Present & Explain Designs to clientsUphold integrity of the brand by following ethical practicesProject conversion for existing clientsProject conversion for new clients3.Project Management & Internal CoordinationAdhering to internal/ client timelinesCoordination with the concept team to ensure that the copy and design are in sync*Effective communication of the final art works to relevant internal departments-CS, production (for final execution).Working with the Production Department, overseeing the print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are metWorking in tandem with other departments (Concept/CS/Production) to gain understanding of consumer experience, marketing strategy and operational capabilitiesRequired Qualification, Experience and skills:Strong knowledge of Softwares like Adobe Ilustrator, Corel Draw , Photoshop.6+ years’ experience in the Events or BTL industry.Understanding of brands & their needs to connect with consumers/target audience. Fair knowledge on event set ups. Has exceptional attention to detail and the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and projects in parallel despite tight deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Experience in crafting narratives and engaging clients and agencies in long range strategic partnerships. Highly customer oriented with proven ability to build internal and external relationships.
