About the Role:We are looking for experienced Mortgage Underwriters to join our growing team supporting a leading US-based client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in underwriting mortgage loan files, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines, and maintaining excellent turnaround times.Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze mortgage loan applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with agency/investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, etc.).- Evaluate borrower income, credit, assets, and collateral to assess risk and determine eligibility.- Maintain quality standards and adhere to SLAs and regulatory requirements.- Collaborate with loan processors, loan officers, and quality control teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.- Document underwriting decisions and maintain accurate records in the loan origination system.- Stay updated on regulatory and policy changes affecting underwriting Minimum 2 years of experience in US Mortgage Underwriting.- Strong knowledge of Conventional and Government loan programs.- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Willingness to work in night shifts (US timings).- Immediate to 30 days' joiners preferred.Why Join Us:- Opportunity to work with a leading US client.- Growth-oriented work environment.- Competitive salary and benefits.
