Company Profile:We are hiring for a multi-national company providing IT services. It provides software and consultancy services in different industries like Finance, Education, Insurance, Retail, Energy, Life Science, and Healthcare.

Experience Range: 4-10 years

Desired Competencies : Must-Have

  1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android,and how to deal with different screen sizes
  2. Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP
  3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications toback-end services
  4. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  5. Familiar with Java OOP concepts and have some hands-on experience on Java8 or above
  6. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  7. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
  8. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  9. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  10. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
  11. Experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store
  12. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  13. Familiarity with continuous integration.

Good-to-Have

  1. Experience integrating third party SDK’s like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  2. Familiarity with Android Material Design Principles

Responsibility

  1. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
  2. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code
  3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  4. Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  5. Work with outside data sources and APIs
  6. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
