Company Profile:We are hiring for a multi-national company providing IT services. It provides software and consultancy services in different industries like Finance, Education, Insurance, Retail, Energy, Life Science, and Healthcare.

Experience Range: 4-10 years

Desired Competencies : Must-Have

1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android,and how to deal with different screen sizes2. Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications toback-end services4. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices5. Familiar with Java OOP concepts and have some hands-on experience on Java8 or above6. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning7. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers8. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks9. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications10. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines11. Experience in publishing an application on the Google Play store12. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git13. Familiarity with continuous integration.

Good-to-Have

1. Experience integrating third party SDK’s like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.2. Familiarity with Android Material Design Principles

Responsibility

1. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code2. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application4. Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability5. Work with outside data sources and APIs6. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
