Key accountabilities:

- Develop and maintain detailed financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF), merger and acquisition (M&A) models, leveraged buyout (LBO) models, and valuation models.

- Assist in the execution of transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raises. Conduct thorough due diligence, prepare pitch materials, and support deal structuring.

- Engage with clients to understand their strategic objectives and provide tailored financial advice. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

- Perform comprehensive industry and market research to support investment banking activities. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic factors.

- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and memorandums for internal stakeholders and clients. Ensure all materials are accurate, well-organized, and professionally presented.

- Work closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to support the execution of deals and the development of client relationships. Contribute to team efforts and share best practices.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the transaction process. Stay updated with industry regulations and compliance Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking or a related financial role, with a strong focus on financial modeling and valuation.

- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including DCF, M&A, and LBO models.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be based in Bangalore, or willing to relocate.
