Software Architect :-


Role Overview : A Software Architect for one of the product lines in Matrimony.com. For this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including engineers and product managers to roll out new features in our products of end-to-end product engineering requirements to deliver unique and customer centric web applications.



Key Responsibilities :

  • Work with the leadership team to understand the business priorities and create a long-term Technology / Product roadmap for the organization and drive its implementation.
  • Identify the latest tools / software / frameworks; Deploy the right tools, techniques & processes and bring in newer technologies to help developers do their work faster and solve the technology problems more effectively.
  • Responsible for product development (full stack) and release which includes architecture, design, development and testing within the agreed timeframes.
  • Own all the NFRs (non-functional requirements) for the products.
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.
  • Adapt and iterate quickly based on user feedback and metrics



Skill and Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience in building and shipping products/features written in TypeScript/JavaScript using Node.js for 10-15 years.
  • Experience with data backends like MySQL / PostgreSQL,
  • Well versed service oriented architecture and have built and deployed RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Hands-on experience with a JavaScript based front-end framework like React, Angular or Vue.js.
  • Exposure in MongoDB/Cassandra and Redis.
  • Hands-on experience working with internet facing applications, especially with mobile applications on Android and iOS.
  • Well versed with Agile software development and management methods (user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.) and have the ability to excel within an Agile environment.
  • Exposure to built and shipped features for high-traffic web applications.
  • Familiar with using observability tools to identify and isolate problems.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one
  • Passionate about working together with a team to solve customer problems.
  • Experience about teaching and mentoring junior team members
