Role Overview :

A

Software Architect for one of the product lines in Matrimony.com. For this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including engineers and product managers to roll out new features in our products of end-to-end product engineering requirements to deliver unique and customer centric web applications.

Key Responsibilities :Work with the leadership team to understand the business priorities and create a long-term Technology / Product roadmap for the organization and drive its implementation.Identify the latest tools / software / frameworks; Deploy the right tools, techniques & processes and bring in newer technologies to help developers do their work faster and solve the technology problems more effectively.Responsible for product development (full stack) and release which includes architecture, design, development and testing within the agreed timeframes.Own all the NFRs (non-functional requirements) for the products.Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.Adapt and iterate quickly based on user feedback and metrics

Skill and Competencies:Hands-on experience in building and shipping products/features written in TypeScript/JavaScript using Node.js for 10-15 years.Experience with data backends like MySQL / PostgreSQL,Well versed service oriented architecture and have built and deployed RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.Hands-on experience with a JavaScript based front-end framework like React, Angular or Vue.js.Exposure in MongoDB/Cassandra and Redis.Hands-on experience working with internet facing applications, especially with mobile applications on Android and iOS.Well versed with Agile software development and management methods (user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.) and have the ability to excel within an Agile environment.Exposure to built and shipped features for high-traffic web applications.Familiar with using observability tools to identify and isolate problems.Hands-on experience with at least onePassionate about working together with a team to solve customer problems.Experience about teaching and mentoring junior team members
