About the Role :

- We are looking for a highly motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our EDH team at Lending Club Bank.

- The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, reliability, and performance across our Linux-based systems, Hadoop clusters, and AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability, availability, and performance.

- Own production support activities and ensure timely issue resolution.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux-based systems and Hadoop clusters.

- Manage and support AWS services for smooth operations.

- Provide 24/7 global support, ensuring uptime and reliability.

- Implement and follow SRE best practices.

- Drive automation and process improvements across systems.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and production support.

- Hands-on expertise in Linux system administration.

- Solid experience with Hadoop ecosystems and related tools.

- Proficiency with AWS cloud services.

- Ability to work in global support environments and flexible hours.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.

- Familiarity with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

- Knowledge of Tableau administration & visualization tools.

- Background in fintech or financial services.

- A good sense of humor to keep the team spirit high.
