Inviting applications for the role of Associate Vice President - ServiceNow App Engine

We are seeking candidate who relevant experience of ServiceNow Delivery, managing high performance development team, and good knowledge on custom application development, provide effective solution for various business requirements via custom app deployment. You should also have experience on agile development model and business/stakeholder management. Experience on hybrid environment like AWS, Azure & other products integrated with ServiceNow is added advantage.

Responsibilities


• Manage group of Sr developer and Senior Architects for custom app delivery on ServiceNow

platform.


• Setup best in class governance process for complete ServiceNow development & delivery to

meet 100% timeline with quality.


• Good technical understanding on Configuration/Customization of the ServiceNow platform,

including custom apps.


• Lead the conceptualization, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new

and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area.


• Suggest best practices across various development process to have a smooth sprint delivery.


• Work closely with Business Analyst & Product Owners to give best solutions for business needs.


• Work closely with other technology leads like AWS, Power BI to have best in class integration

with ServiceNow platform.


• Proactively think on process to find system failures which may affect the user experience or

system performance and take necessary actions to avoid the upcoming failure scenario.


• Work closely with ServiceNow platform team on patching, upgrade & maintenance tasks.


• Ensure all team members are engaged in their tasks and give quality output in all their

deliverables.


• Review all process documents like code review, high level design & low-level design documents

and provide sign off.


• Represent ServiceNow technology for custom application in any infosec or audit teams to

complete the process successfully.


• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.


• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic

Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in

order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications


• BS degree or higher in Information Technology


• Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaborative skills.


• Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM/DevOps/SCRUM processes.


• ServiceNow implementation experience in custom application or any module in SN product line.


• Previous hands-on experience in Glide and Angular JS Scripting, Java Script, HTML, CSS, & AJAX.


• Previous experience with Integrations with 3rd party tools using (web services, SOAP, email,

MID, etc.)


• Previous hands-on experience working with relational databases.


• Good understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) processes.


• Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem solving


• Proficient critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills


• Must be able to learn and support new and fast-changing technologies like GenAI, Copilot.,

Preferred qualifications


• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator & Certified Application Developer preferred.


• Excellent communication skills and strong customer service skills
