Role Overview


As an Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of our product suite. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust automated test cases, collaborating with the development team, and ensuring our CI/CD pipelines deliver consistent and reliable results.


Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases using Cypress.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Implement automated testing strategies for both frontend and backend functionalities of FunnelKit products.
  • Integrate test cases with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or other CI tools.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in automation scripts, ensuring accurate and reliable test results.
  • Analyze test results, log defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain and update existing test automation frameworks, improving efficiency and coverage.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality releases by actively participating in testing during the release cycle.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes.


Requirements


  • Strong experience with Cypress and JavaScript for end-to-end testing.
  • Deep understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or similar is a plus.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Skills


  • Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with testing WordPress or WooCommerce plugins.
