Job Description :


1. SAP MM Configuration : Configure SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material master data, to align with client needs and industry best practices.

2. Inventory Control : Implement inventory control strategies and optimize stock levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring materials availability.

3. Purchasing : Create and manage purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and contracts within SAP MM, ensuring efficient procurement processes.

4. Sourcing Strategies : Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement, considering factors such as cost, quality, and lead times.

5. Integration : Work closely with other SAP modules and teams (e.g., SAP SD, SAP PP) to ensure seamless integration with SAP MM processes.

6. Documentation : Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.

7. Testing : Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate the functionality and accuracy of SAP MM solutions.

8. Support and Training : Provide end-user training and support, assisting with issue resolution and troubleshooting

9. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on SAP MM best practices, new features, and innovations, and make recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP MM implementation and support.

- Proficiency in configuring SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material master data.

- Strong understanding of materials management and procurement processes.

- Knowledge of SAP integration techniques and familiarity with other SAP modules.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- SAP certification in Materials Management is a plus

- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP MM

- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements

- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements

- Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.

- Design, customize, configure and testing of MM

- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.

- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.

- Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues;

- Document functional designs, test cases and results.

- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements

- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects

- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.

- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required

- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
