Job Summary:


We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Quality Assurance Tester to join our software

development team. The QA Tester will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing software

specifications, executing test cases, and identifying defects to ensure the quality of our applications.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities:


- Review and analyze system specifications to understand the software's functionality and design.

- Collaborate with QA Lead and others to develop effective strategies and test plans.

- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.

- Report bugs and errors to development teams.

- Help troubleshoot issues.

- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.

- Experience in QA methodology.

- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.

- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Attention to detail.

- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.

- Strong organizational skills.


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
