Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will be responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across the organization. The Senior Lead Analyst will provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making, enhance financial performance, and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, advanced analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial performance metrics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting &Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing quarterly/rolling forecasts. Work closely with department heads and senior management to collect, analyze, and consolidate financial data. Provide insightful analysis on key financial and operational metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and trend analysis. Deliver actionable insights on business performance and identify key drivers of financial results.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business performance, assess financial risks, and support long-term financial planning. Analyze and interpret financial data to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial health of the organization. Identify areas of improvement and work with cross-functional teams to drive financial optimization.
  • Management Support: Provide analytical support to senior management and department heads by delivering ad-hoc financial analyses, reports, and presentations to assist with decision-making and performance evaluations.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-term strategic financial planning, supporting the development of growth plans, capital allocation strategies, and business expansion initiatives. Analyze the impact of business initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and investments on financial performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, operations, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies. Support the integration of financial insights into operational decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial planning, reporting processes, and systems. Implement best practices in financial reporting, data collection, and forecasting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting, with a strong focus on financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Prior experience in a lead or senior analyst role is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of financial performance drivers, key business metrics, and how financial decisions impact organizational growth. Ability to think strategically and translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and senior leadership.
