Associate - ERP Business Analysis

Associate, ERP Business Analysis (T) of Position :

Alcon is looking to hire in IT Business Systems Analysis work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including, Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives and Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices).

Translating business requirements into application Responsibilities Job Functions:

- Develop system designs that adhere to high level conceptual design and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in projects/enhancements.

- Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of solutions.

- Deliver design solutions in line with system design standards (Core/Template).

- Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the architecture handbook.

- Perform scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects/enhancements, proposes solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations and align with business teams.

- Ensure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendars.

- Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed, formally documented and signed off by business.

- Initiate solution testing to ensure these meet quality standards.

- Follow standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery.

- Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Solution Design scope.

- Solution Quality; Cost efficiency; Delivery time; Customer Satisfaction; Achievement of KPIs for enhancements.

- Global responsibility for SAP design for strategic programs (e.g. IRIS), projects and Requirements/Minimum Qualifications Proven experience in SAP ECC implementations, detailed process analysis and design, system architecture, technology standards, CSV, GXP and SOX requirements.

- Proven experience in understanding of SAP functionality, related business processes and master data in the area of responsibility.

- Direct impact on strategic SAP programs and projects to deliver Business & IT strategy.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Able to leverage networks of professionals across functions and business areas.

- Understands the competing organizational needs beyond own part of business.

- Able to interpret complex information and to influence internal and external peers.

- Proven experience and expert knowledge in SAP ERP in the following modules in order to be able to support the Alcon supply chain business processes:

- Proven experience in understanding of SAP functionality, related business processes and master data in the area of responsibility.

- 3yrs minimum exp.

- Inventory & Warehouse Management IM & WM (mandatory).

- 2yrs minimum Experience Logistics Execution LE (mandatory).

- Experience interfacing SAP ECC with third party logistics providers (3PL) who may have their own warehouse management / warehouse control systems.

- Transportation Management (desired, not mandatory).

- CSV, GXP and SOX requirements nice to have.

- Integration with non SAP systems like MES / Salesforce nice to have.

- Understanding of adjacent models and processes to the above, for example:

- Integration with Sales & distribution.

- Integration with Finance.

- Integration with Quality Management.

- Integration with Production.

- Good understanding of medical devices and/or contact lenses industry is an advantage.

- General Shift: 11am to 8pm Qualifications/Skills/Experience University degree or adequate equivalent.

- Bachelor degree in business/technical and SAP knowledge in specified module(s)/process areas.

- At least 3 to 5years of business consultancy and SAP implementation experience in an international environment specifically in areas of Logistic.

- Logistics Execution LE (mandatory).

- 2yrs minimum Experience in interfacing SAP ECC with third party logistics providers (3PL) who may have their own warehouse management / warehouse control systems.

- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
