Description : NP : Immediate 20 daysWork Mode : 5 Days WFOOverview : We are seeking a highly skilled and 5-10 years experienced Test Lead with a strong background in manual and automation testing using Java and Selenium.The ideal candidate will lead the QA efforts for one or more projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through effective test planning, execution, and automation strategies.Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities : - Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities (manual + automation) across projects.- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and DevOps.- Identify, log, track, and drive resolution of defects and issues.- Optimize and maintain the automation suite for maximum efficiency and coverage.- Review code and test scripts created by team members to ensure quality and adherence to standards.- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical leadership to the team.- Define and implement QA processes, tools, and best practices.- Report test progress, metrics, and results to stakeholders.Qualifications : Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 59 years of experience in software testing, with at least 4+ years in test automation.- Strong programming skills in Java.- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG or JUnit.- Experience in manual testing, test case design, and defect management.- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).- Experience with tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Postman.- Exposure to API testing, performance testing tools is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong verbal and written communication skills (ref:hirist.tech)
