Job Description

Education: Diploma/ BE/Mtech in Mechanical/Related Engineering

Exp: 5+ years

Job location: Bengaluru


Skill requirement:

• Experience Design and development of Electro-mechanical products.

• Should be conversant with new product development process and project management techniques.

• Strong basics in mechanical engineering, Busbars and Plastics product designs.

• Knowledge/Experience in working with CAD tools with ability to develop surfacing, solid models and detailed drawings.

• Expert in GD&T technique as per ASME standard.

• Hands on experience in designing for Plastic and sheetmetal components using standard design guidelines.

• Exposure into injection molding process and other manufacturing techniques.

• Experience in technical documentation includes DFMEA, Tolerance stack-up analysis, review records, 2D drawings, product validation plans, etc

• Excellent Communication Skills, Aggressive and ready to take challenges.

• Experience in resource planning and project management.

• Knowledge/experience in surface decorative techniques – IMD, Painting, etc.

• Knowledge in Basic electrical design parameters

• Knowledge/experience in Validation testing and failure analysis



Job profile:

• Understanding of functional requirements of the product and requirement elicitation

• Preparing concept design proposals & review with customer

• Technical support/Review during detail design and 3D modelling.

• Create/Review BOM, Selection of materials, drawings with GD&T, design calculations and related design documents

• Follow development process, create and maintain engineering documents to meet Quality System requirements.

• Handling Cross functional team activities.

• Evaluates and implements design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.

• Maintain project timeline, schedule and coordinate with Launch Lead for project management activities.

• Allocate & monitoring of resources based on the project requirements & technical capabilities

• Support during IQA audits
