Job Description: We are seeking a skilledTechnology Consultantwith proven experience inL2 production support ,Kafka administration , andbig data ecosystems . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high system availability, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring smooth operations of critical IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Provide24/7 L2 production supportfor enterprise IT systems. Administer and operateKafka clusters(preferably Confluent distribution), including deploying topics, connectors, streams, and schema via CLI and UI. Performlog extraction, root cause analysis , and production troubleshooting. Manage and supportBig Data ecosystems(preferably Cloudera). Executeshell scripting and Pythonautomation for system support and monitoring. Support and maintainJava runtime systemsanddatabases(Oracle, PostgreSQL). Work withinLinux/Unixenvironments and containerized platforms likeOpenShift . Utilizeticketing toolsand adhere toITIL practicesfor incident/change management. Create and deliverpresentations and reportson system health, incidents, and performance metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. Technical Skills Required: Kafka (Confluent preferred) Cloudera / Big Data ecosystems Linux / Unix Java runtime systems SQL (Oracle / PostgreSQL) Shell scripting & Python OpenShift / Container platforms Excel & Reporting tools Familiarity withHPE productsis a strong plus. Additional Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong understanding ofITIL frameworksand production support processes.
