Job Description

·Lead the creative vision and oversee the development of product lines for apparel and accessories  that fulfills brand vision, strategy and financial plans

·Design and execute original concepts, guiding products from initial idea through production, with a strong focus on trends, fit, fabric, and finishing.

·Communicate overall concept to CEO and cross-functional (Sales,PD, Merchandising, Vendors) partners in an inspirational and organized manner

·Strategize and plan seasonal collections, balancing new trends with existing best-sellers, and organize the product range based on target MRP.

·Analyze global markets to identify gaps and develop unique, locally-tailored designs.

·Conduct research to track fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitors, enhancing the brand's image and ensuring competitive positioning.

·Innovate by staying ahead of fashion trends, generating fresh ideas, and introducing new products and categories in line with the brand’s identity.

·Research and sketch silhouettes, selection of colors, prints, fabrics and trims; finalizes color palette and print direction

·Create original Tech Packs

·Submit a T&A calendar between Sales and Production to maintain timing between Sales, Design and Production


Requirements

·Bachelors in Fashion Design

·Minimum 3 years of exposure work for a Sports Brand

·Excellent hand/digital sketching and illustration ability

· Strong technical expertise in activewear construction and fit

·Ability to communicate clearly using fabric/merchandising/garment construction terminology and skills both written and verbal

·Great eye for color; understands possibilities of fabric and construction; looks for new and innovative ways to use color, fabric, and details in design

·Proficient in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.

·Skilled in interacting with factory management and buyers.

·Effective planning and execution abilities.

·Exceptional communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.

·Able to build relationships effectively with cross-functional teams
