Job Description: Business Analyst
Position: Business Analyst
Notice Period: Immediate to 20 Days
Job Location: Pune
Employment Type: Full-Time (Hybrid)
Experience Required: 6+ years
Software Requirements:
- Proficiency with UI mockup and brainstorming tools such as Figma, FigJam, and MS Visio.
- Basic knowledge of databases for conducting data analysis and verification.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of our client's product lines and the overall profitability of the business.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and document requirements clearly.
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
- Lead the design and review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
Categorywise Technical Skills:
- Client Analysis: Ability to analyze client business, workflow, and system needs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation.
- UI Mockups: Proficient in creating UI/UX mockups and conducting brainstorming sessions.
- Data Analysis: Basic database skills to effectively perform data analysis and verification.
- Quality Assurance: Basic understanding of QA processes and experience in leading UAT with stakeholders.
Experience:
- At least 6 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proven track record in the insurance industry or related financial services.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Engage with clients to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive business solutions.
- Develop UI mockups and facilitate brainstorming sessions.
- Perform data analysis to support business decisions.
- Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing activities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an emphasis on relationship building and stakeholder management.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Superior time management skills, with a focus on delivering quality work within agreed-upon timelines.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to addressing issues and finding solutions.
