Role : VMware Administrator.

Experience : 10 16 years.

Location Mumbai.

Job Description :

- Minimum 8 years of hands-on VMWARE Management with Admin (Technical) Skills.

- Knowledge of overall VMWARE Architecture, Performance Tunning & High Availability.

Good-to-Have :

- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, PostgreSQL, Bank Domain, Servers, Storage & Network.

- Good Knowledge on Red Hat OpenShift/any Container platform will be added advantage.

- Basic working knowledge of scripting.

- Readiness to work in 24x7 environment.

Exp : 10-16 years


Key Responsibilities :


- VMware Administration : Hands-on experience in managing and administering VMware environments.


- Deep understanding of VMware architecture, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN.


- Proficiency in VM provisioning, cloning, migration, and backup/restore operations.


- Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning for VMware infrastructure.


- Implementation and maintenance of high availability and disaster recovery solutions.


- Knowledge of VMware security best practices and compliance standards.


- Infrastructure Management : Strong understanding of server, storage, and network infrastructure components. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.


- Familiarity with database technologies like PostgreSQL.


- Knowledge of banking domain and its specific infrastructure requirements.


- Cloud and Container Technologies : Good understanding of containerization technologies like Red Hat OpenShift or other container platforms.


- Ability to leverage cloud-native technologies and automation tools.


- Scripting and Automation : Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications :


- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in VMware administration.


- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


- Readiness to work in a 24x7 environment.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications :


- Certification in VMware technologies (e.g., VCP, VCAP).


- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).


- Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management practices.
